It is with sadness that I hear of Bill's passing. Trips from ND to Syracuse will not have the magic without his beautiful eyes and smile. He always made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Truly a great gentleman with the best stories on earth.

My dear friend Denise, and family,
If ever there was a genuine proof of goodness, kindness and love, you and your family were most definitely blessed to love and have been loved by this man who so defines the character I have just described above. The care and compassion you have for each other, and to so many others shines through you in so many ways. What a beautiful gift your father, your "Dad" has instilled from the love he has for each of you from within himself, to give to
each of you. I hope you each find comfort in knowing how special and valued you all are and what a wonderful example of love and family has been set before you to carry on. Many heartfelt prayers and much love are there with you, may you find joy in the many memories as time allows.
With love and sympathy,
Michele

A truly wonderful service full of tears, laughs, fond memories, friends, and all who may have touched his life. It was very special to have the bagpipes played, police escort through the city, salute by Engine 5...yes the empty boots, taps on the site with the presentation of the American flag and a special tribute by St. Pat's Father Fanlon who is now part of our family. Thanks to all who came to pay tribute to a special person called Bill aka "Frag". We shall miss him dearly but his words will be embeded forever.....our love

Ron and I were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. What a great guy he was! We so enjoyed all the nice times we shared with him at our home over the many years of friendship with my Dad,and his buddy, "Fish". My parents both spoke of the many happy times with your parents and the Fire Department years. "Frag" was just such a wonderful man and terrific friend. I can still see both of them at my Dad's kitchen table having coffee together and getting ready to go to their monthly breakfast at Denny's. Now they all are together in Heaven with the Lord and each other. We are sadden by the fact that we were not aware of his passing and not be able to attend his meaningful funeral service. Please know we are thinking of all of you with special prayers for comfort and peace.
Sincerely,
Francie and Ron
