LEFTY MANAGED THE TEAM I WAS ON AFTER I BECAME 55. HE WAS PATIENT TO A POINT AND WE HAD QUITE A FEW LAUGHS AS WE STUMBLED THROUGH AN 0-14 SEASON. PLAYED WITH LEFTY ON SEVERAL TEAMS AFTER THAT AND I AM SURE HE IS HAVING A 'NECTURE OF THE GODS' WITH HIS NEW MANAGER OF HIS ETERNAL TEAM. AM IN FLORIDA SO COULD NOT BE THERE TO SAY MY GOOD BYES TO LEFTY WHEN CALLED TO TAKE TWO AND HIT TO LEFT.
