Obituary of Michael Fecco

Michael Fecco December 10, 2010 Michael Fecco, 85, of Auburn, formerly of Syracuse passed away Friday, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He retired from Crouse Hinds after 40 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Auburn and formerly St. Brigid's in Syracuse where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his weekly trip to the casino with his wife. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elda Fecco, daughter, Terese Fecco, and sister, Lucy Sweeney. Survivors: his wife, Angeline Lippa Fecco; two daughters: Celeste (William) Fairchild, and Anne (Joseph) Galloway; three sons: Michael (Donna) Fecco, Thomas (Patricia) Fecco, and John (Karen) Fecco; step son, Joseph (Tammy) Lippa; sisters: Pauline Guanciale and Theresa Prell; brother, Anthony (Beverly) Fecco; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services: 8:30 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Church. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St., Syracuse.
