Celeste, Mike, Tommy, John and Annie, I wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear of your loss. Your dad was a great guy and never lost his cheerful nature. I last saw him this summer when I was visiting and his demeanor hadn't changed a bit.
I also wanted to let you know how good he was to me. When he and your mom were dating, they very often took me along: roller skating, swimming, picnicking. I'm sure it was no fun for him to be dragging along a 9 year old kid, but he always did it.
When I was in college, my parents usually used the car on weekends, and your dad MANY times would let me take his car on my dates.
He was a terrific guy and I will never forget his kindness. My prayers are with you and with Angie duriing this difficult time.

Gail and I are so very sorry to learn of your loss. Uncle Mike was simply one of nicest people you could ever meet. In our minds eye, when we think of him, we think of his ever present smile. He was an absolute joy to be around. We'll miss him terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Mike. He was the most kind hearted person I knew. Mom always felt like him mother rather than his big sister.

Gary, Carm & Geoff Guanciale - from Myrtle Beach posted a condolence
That smile, those friendly eyes, his gentle touch and always trying to make things better for everyone else, was his trademark. I remember the times he would come out to our house, just to take his sister for a walk. “It was important” as he would say, to get her exercise. Just the two of them walking down Main St. in Elbridge. Down to the restaurant that she was so found of, Elbridge Plaza Restaurant. Her arm tucked neatly in his. Aunt Angie worried about the safety of both of them, Uncle Mike just saying, “pick us up a couple hours.” “We’ll be fine” he’d say, he had the situation totally under control. The dozens of calls he’d make to Pauline his sister over the past few years, always checking on her. He was a true brother, kind, affectionate, and pleasant to have around. I am thankful of their friendship they shared. Please know that our family wishes your family strength in getting through these difficult days ahead. God Bless, from The Guanciale’s in Myrtle Beach, SC.
