I was thinking about Francis today and decided to look him up. I live in Huntington WV. I have such wonderful memories of him. He didn’t live here long but left a large footprint in our city. He helped in getting financial assistance to a new program for Women and Children. He was my hero! Most probably don’t know how he help save lives in and around West Virginia. Thank you for all your contributions and love. God be with your family. RIP my friend

It's hard to believe that Francis is gone. I've shared many stories about "Little Hitler" and "Old Helmet Head" with my Friends of Bill here in Richmond. Frank's "always gentle" way of speaking to me saved me from making a very big mistake over 22 years ago. I will never, ever forget the lunches that he, Bob Tindall (aka Digger) and I shared lo' those many years ago. There are not many people's passing which would bring me to tears, but Francis, yours did. And I know full well that I would never hear the end of it if you were here to see it. You and your family will always be in my prayers. I love you, you old goat!!
