Obituary of Donald F. Emm

Donald F. Emm, 82, of Camillus passed away January 6, 2016 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Donald was born in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Assumption High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Donald worked for the Diocese of Syracuse at Holy Cross School and Bishop Grimes High School. For many years he was actively involved as a coach and official for local sports. Donald is predeceased by his wife Patricia, daughter Mary, and son John. Survivors: his daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Carney; son, William (Anne) Emm; grandchildren, Nicole DeFurio, Melissa (Seth) Appleman, and John Emm; great grandchildren Andrew, Benjamin, and Isabella Appleman; several nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday January 9, at Holy Cross Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday January 8, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
