To Nancie and your family....
It was with great sadness that I learned of your mom's passing. I am so grateful that I was able to spend some time with her just days before her death. Ellen was such a beautiful person. Everyone knew her as she was forever flitting about at warp speed through the halls of VanDuyn in her magic chair. She was full of life and nothing seemed to get in her way despite her limitations. She added smiles to all who spent time with her, especially my sister in law Ann and their friend Rose, who together were known as the Golden girls at VanDuyn Home Away From Home. We are all blessed for having time with Ellen on Earth. I have faith that we will all see her again in her new home beyond the sunset. I am certain she will welcome us with a firm, clear, sincere and audible "Hello. It's so good to see you again!" My prayers are with you and all who loved your mom.
