Obituary of Anthony T. Slivinski, MD

Anthony T. Slivinski, MD, 89, of Syracuse passed away Monday, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII serving in Europe. He practiced as a Psychiatrist for over 50 years in the Syracuse Area. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Casey Slivinski in 2001 and his brother Henry Slivinski.
Survivors: his children, Mary Rita Huxford of Syracuse, Anne Frances Hunt of Virginia, Anthony Daniel Slivinski of Syracuse, Gregory John and Charlotte Slivinski of Nedrow, Robert Joseph (Julie Stenger) Slivinski of Camillus; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Syracuse Behavioral Health, 329 North Salina St. Syracuse, NY 13203.
