Tony... You'll be missed terribly by me and everyone you've known. With your kindness, gentle compassionate heart, you deserve a rest from the heartache and sadness of life. Yet men like you should live a thousand years... there was still so much you longed to do... so many hearts you had yet to meet. I love you, my constant and forgiving friend.

Reading Tony's obituary this morning brings tears to my eyes. He was one of the first psychiatrists I worked closely with at Hutchings, and a true friend and mentor. He was wise, funny, generous, and oh so gentle with the elderly folks we worked with. Just sitting and chatting with Tony in the office brought light to the day. I know his spirit lives on in the lives of his family and all of us who were privileged to spend time with him -- and for that I am grateful.

Greg,
Your father was truly an inspiring man. I am so sorry for your loss. As I read the condolences in this page and all the wonderful things about your father, I remember your wedding with my mom and chatting with your dad. I remember the fears I had about meeting your family and how quickly they dissolved after that chat. He spoke with grace and meaning. He wasn't judgmental or reserved at all. His words were Warm, funny, and so intelligent. He was very confident and smiled the entire time we were talking. I got the sense that he is probably the smartest man I will ever come in contact with. I say inspiring because honestly Greg, you and your father are my role models. Both of you showed me through your life story that it is never to late to make something of myself and that I'm never done learning and improving. I will always see your dad in you Greg. My heart goes out to you and your family

I worked with Sly at the PSB. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I have missed our talks since I retired. I know how much he loved his family. I am in Florida or would be at his funeral. I even have his Santa Claus suit. He said that he was not going to be useing it and I had a need so he generously donated it. Bye Sly you will be missed by many. Judy Delaney RN

I was so saddened to read of Tony's passing. I had the pleasure and the honor of working with him for many years at Hutchings. He was such a kind, caring and compassionate man, and such a good psychiatrist. There are so many good things that could be said, but it would take too long and take up too much room. Let me just say that the world has lost a very special man who's likes we may never see again.

May the peace of Christ be with all who mourn the loss of this man. We at St. Mary's Epicopal know and admire his daughter Anne. She loved her dad and told us many stories of his spirit and generosity. We wish we could have known him.

A life well lived helping and touching so many lives. It is never easy, especially with that empty chair. Looking at your hearts, I am convinced he left them full of love and memories to cherish.
