To the Carr family, please accept my condolences on the loss of such a wonderful human being! I remember Mr. Carr as such a funny, happy, beautiful person full of witty quips, which I can attest have trickled down to his girls! I am thankful for knowing him. I hope his soul rests in peace and we all meet again someday. I send strength and love to the family, especially the dear young ones.

Our deepest condolences to Clint's family. The only way to describe Clint is with superlatives. Honor, generosity, devotion to family and friends, and so much more to the highest degree. I am sure you will treasure his memory as will his friends and former students.

To Mr. Carr's loving family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of this true gentleman. I worked in Solvay Schools, after he had retired, but met him through his granddaughters, who were the light of his life. He always was most concerned with the welfare of others, and had a smile for every person who crossed his path. I just recently learned that he is the uncle of a few of my former Ludden students...it is indeed a small world!
To all of his family, I will hold you in prayer. This is a man who exemplified true kindness and compassion. The world needs many more like him. Certainly we are all much richer for having known him.
I wish you all the peace and comfort of happy memories.

Mrs. V - thanks so much for these kind words! He was always such a help during Book Fair (hahaha!!). I'm sure there were times that Mrs. Shanahan wanted to tell him to go sit on a spot on the carpet with the other kids who were fooling around, but the best thing was that he was always there for his grandkids no matter what.
Thank you again for these words, and I hope your retirement is wonderful!

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Carr's passing and sorry for your loss. He was a phenomenal high school teacher. Our class dedicated the yearbook to him. I have vivid memories of his teaching of social studies and how he brought African history into our curriculum, way back in the 60s-70s. We were able to reconnect many years after to enjoy a couple of Army Navy football games--he was a real fan of Army football and Syracuse and Cornell lacrosse, Fond memories. My deepest sympathies,
S
