Dear Jim and Family
I'm so very sorry for your loss of Liz. I knew you both for a short time but a long time in my mind and heart and most recently
running into you at Kelly's. I was glad to introduce my wife, my son and his family to you and Liz that night.
We did have some interesting meetings a few times in the 80's, and in a few later years when you and I had lunch downtown.
Again Jim I feel very sad, God Bless you all in this very difficult time.
Kindest Regards, Dick Terpening

So very sorry, Jim; such a terrible loss for your family and for us all: I well remember her from your days at St. Ann's as well as a few cases we had along the way. I have a feeling Liz' most cherished job was as a wonderful wife and mother, and I hope you take some solace in knowing she is reunited with your daughter and loved ones. Wm. Brennan

From Mrs. McGinty to Liz and all the years between. In Grammar School you were encouraging when I felt terrible about my lopsided Halloween pumpkin painting on the storefront of McDonalds, you said "of course its perfect, it's real, when is the last time you saw a perfectly round pumpkin". When I was a young adult, you shared what it looked like to be incredibly polished and still be unsure, "I am more afraid of them knowing what I don't know then actually not knowing". You made me fall in love with the knotted pearl necklace that hangs to the knees. You gave me the experience of an elegant dinner party with hors d'Oeuvre, Waterford crystal and cool jazz. Most importantly, you gave me my best friend. I admired your strength and loved your vulnerability. Liz you live on in all those who had the honor, privilege and pleasure of knowing you. I love you, I miss you, I will never forget you.
