Sister Irene, We the city of Utica, NY and the former St. Elizabeths' Hospital will never forget your good will toward many. I am sorry that you had to pass from this good earth, without any of your Utica Friends at your side. I know that reward in Heaven with our Dearly Risen Lord will be the greatest gift of all. You left a lot of us, but we know that you are now in the hands of the Greatest Saviour, and His Blessed Mother. I worked with Sr. Irene at St. Joseph-St. Patrick School, Utica, and she was an awesome teacher, staff member and friend. I would often see her out and about and it was always so good to see her and get caught up. She loved her work (ministry) and it showed!
