The service and eulogy Chris offered was a wonderful tribute to a man who was so loved and will be forever missed by many. Although it’s a comfort to know he’s being reunited with many of his loved ones in heaven, I’m truly going to miss catching up with Mr B. Much love to the Baratta Family.

Carmine, Margie, and Family, Your dad was a great guy and a good friend to my dad. I loved seeing him in church (always in the same pew) and him telling a historical story of the Solvay Electric & Light Department. Climbing a electric pole in a white dress shirt and a tie! He was a iconic figure and will always be in the fabric of Solvay. RIP Mr. Baratta, John Kinsella

Carmine was an amazing man! Always willing to help me during heavy snow storms, bring in my garbage can, or just having a chat on the sidewalk. I will surely miss his smile and friendship. My heart goes out to all his loved ones and friends.

My Family sends their deepest condolences to the Baratta Family, Carmine was such a kind person and recently spoke to him as I was remolding my Aunts house across the street. He was a great person to know.

I was shocked to hear Carmen is gone. He was always there for me. I loved stepping outside my door and just having small talk with him. For years he was always there for my aunt and uncle which I really appreciate. I will miss you Carmen. RIP

My heartfelt condolences to the Baratta family. My father, Carmine J Baratta, told us many sweet stories of babysitting him and his brother. May he rest in heavenly peace.

Carmine was a mentor, friend, and someone who was always there when needed. (He was also one hell of a cook!) His quick wit and sense of humor always kept our spirits up even during the most difficult times. The great memories I have of him are too many to mention and when a trigger or an event causes one to surface, a feeling of warmth will come over me and a smile will shine on my face.
