Obituary of Roger A. Yager

Roger Auld Yager, 49, passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse he was employed as a Wedding Entertainment Coordinator with Ormond Entertainment and a DJ at the Rain Lounge. Survivors: his father, Robert Yager of Lakeland and his mother, Dorothy (Dennis) Fonehouse of Cicero. He is also survived by his brother, Randall (Deborah) Yager also of Lakeland; his nephew, Tyler Yager; maternal grandmother, Mary Wierzbicki of Lakeland; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his partners in the joys of life, Cindy Ormond, Tim Shattuck, and Roland 'RJ' Shea. Roger was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William & Catherine Yager, his maternal grandfather, Joseph Weirzbicki, and his paternal uncle, William Yager. Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse.
