My deepest condolences to Colleen and children.
Also Liz, Darryl, Dale, and Darren.
When we were young and lived close by, attending B'ville schools together we were close cousins. Our families got together all the time. They were great times. David had always remained in touch as has Liz. All 5 of the Butler siblings were great people to know. David will be missed greatly.
Sincerely; Sandra (Butler) Eaton

Dear Colleen & Family:
Kim and I are both shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing and we extend our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family during this most difficult of times. David was a friend to all and loved by many and we are truly a fortunate lot in knowing him for the past 43 years and life will be forever changed without his presence, a presence indeed that he would definitely fill a room!!!! I had the good fortune of being in David's company fairly recently and we shared many stories and reflected on the many good times together that we experienced; of our favorites were the unforgettable trips to the 1000 Acres Dude Ranch outside of Lake George, NY, if the walls, horses and Red Dog Saloon could only talk!!!!!!! Please accept our sympathy and may you find comfort in knowing that many others are thinking of you and keeping you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers in this time of loss...
In Sympathy & Friendship,
Ed & Kim Garrow

The world has lost a special person. Dave, your gentle voice will never be forgotten. Thanks for always asking how mgmt was treating me and being sure I'd eaten on days I was running on fumes. I always enjoyed our chats and working with you through the years. Keeping your family in my thoughts as they deal with such a loss. <3

Colleen, Ryan, Jeff and family, I am so sorry for your loss! I understand the heart break completely! Dave was one of a kind that was for sure, he was a very smart man that always wanted to help and educate! He had the best sense of humor and such a contagious laugh. I can still hear his voice everytime I would come in, no matter what part of the house he was in he would yell "who goes there?" He also saved me a lot of money in the last 20 years by telling me to get the commuter pass for the thruway. He knew all the tricks to save money. 22 years ago while sitting at Tully's he taught me how to tip. I have many life lessons learned from him. Although his time was cut short here physically, know he will forever be with you. Cherish all the memories and laughs you had with him! He was a wonderful man. I know Dad and him are sipping on some Rumple Mintz! Sending all my love and strength to you all! ❤❤❤
