I went to ESM and graduated with Chris. I remember her infectious laugh and warm smile. I found her again on Facebook and enjoyed hearing about her loves, her birds. I am so sorry for her passing. I will fondly think of her each time I hear a bird call. Jacqueline (Greiner) Havener

I met Chris when we were in elementary school, 2nd grade. I’m pretty sure she was the new girl at Woodland then. We were in the school play that year. As her dad told me years later...she was great but that other guy was terrible! Chris was always smart, always kind, and always especially good company. I feel blessed that our paths crossed in this life. Now that her pain is over, I imagine she is singing with the angels.

I remember playing in the basement in the Franklin Park Apartments she lived in. It was quite the playroom set up. We had much fun down there. She was such a good friend.

Chris worked as secretary on 7-A, evening shift when I worked evenings. I loved when she worked, as she was always smiling and pleasant to work with. I had just got a little lovebird in 2005 and went to her house to meet her birds, Barney, Freddy and Tiki. These are pics I took of her with her birds. First pic is Barney on her head, middle she is giving Barney a kiss and last is looking cross-eyed at Barney. May you rest in peace, Chris, with your Dad and your flock of birds.
