I remember Bill as a kid when he would come with his parents to visit my friend's parents and then many years later when we worked at the Developmental Center. Will always remember his smile. A great guy, who has left this earth too soon. RIP, Bill.

A look back...I remember the poker games at his parent's apartment on Wllis Ave where the Eek Brothers were born...sitting at Krinks watching Bill run by - he was a long distance runner in his 20's...all the six packs at roundtop...he sang at our wedding...our Emerald Isle softball team - everyone remembers all the fun we had and how hard it was to work the next day! I don't think we lost a game with him as coach...he looked so forward to the West End Open and helped make it happen every year...all the corny jokes everyone had to suffer thru, yet laugh like hell at the punchline...after hanging around with Bill a number of years (memories a little foggy)I can also say that when it came to excess - he could exceed it...he learned lessons the hard way...he was a Lewis Park Boy...he knew he had a guardian angel in life named Sandy...we know he's ok now but we're upset at the way it ended...but he left us knowing two more things for certain - not all of his jokes were funny - and everyone who knew him loved him. Good bye Billy

I remember most how much Bill loved his music and singing and of course his beloved dog Carrie. He made the best meatballs ever too!! Good cook, lots of laughs and plenty of warm hugs and love. That is the man I remeber.

Now at peace with our dog Blues (he's been gone over 20 years). Hew was your pal. Up there with too many friends and family. We'll miss the jokester. Other than billy would no one come to your house and thank you for the steamed clams with melted margarine or the ham sandwich with store brand mayo. Love Dorie
