Obituary of Georgia E. Marris

Georgia E. Marris November 21, 2011 Georgia E. Ely Marris, 91, of Taunton passed away Monday, at St. Camillus. Georgia worked for NY Telephone until she met and married her husband, George Marris. She was a member of Taunton Memorial Presbyterian Church since 1947 and very active in the Women's Clubs and Home Interest Club. Georgia was a great cook and baker. She enjoyed camping and travelling, sailing and dancing. She was loved by all who knew her. The family is grateful to those who loved and cared for her at St. Camillus. Survivors: her husband of 66 years, George E. Marris; sons, Edward of Pine Hill, NY and Thomas of Mount Morris; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. Services: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St.
