Aunt Theresa was one of my favorites... she was such a thoughtful, caring person... every year since my parents died she always sent me a birthday card and had a mass said for me on that day. I will miss her even though I did not get to see her much. Her life will truly be celebrated! Love Cuz Ann

Theresa will be remembered for being a faithful and prayerful Catholic Christian.
She had so many stories and remembered her family and friends. Over the years we became friends via her letters and requests for Lituriges to be prayed for deceased friends and for her children and grandchildren on their birthdays and anniveraries. "Well done good and faithful servant, because you have been faithful in these things, come enter my Father's house...

My grandmother was a wonderful caring person. I used to love reading her letters she would send to me, that is one memory I will always have of her along with many others. I spent many summers in New York at her house and she always made sure we were taken care of. I always thought she was a great cook too. I will miss her wonderful meals. I love you Granny!

I love my mother and miss her very much. I loved the smell of her hair when I was little, how much she loved her family, and her delightful sense of humor. It was so easy to get her to laugh. She managed to crack a smile the day before she died. Mom was the best story teller and writer. I loved hearing her stories about family, friends, and other things she enjoyed. She always kept everyone in touch. I love you Mom!!!

I have always loved, ever since I was very young, going to visit Grandma. She was always so nice and kind to us and she was always in a good mood and she was always able to put a smile on anyone's face. I'll always remember the stories that she used to tell us that helped to teach us lessons or even just make us laugh. And, I will especially remember how she helped to encourage everyone in the family to be the best people that they could be and showing everyone that there was always something good in things. I love you very much Grandma.

When I woke this morning she was with me, only we were in her room and she was in her chair. Everything was so vivid. One hand clasping the other next to her face. Her legs were crossed and she was sitting in the chair so that she faced the bed where I was sitting. She gave me that familiar look – where she raised her eyebrows, kind of shrugged her shoulders, gave a slight smile and made a little noise with her mouth. She always gave me that look after telling me a story, as if to say “I don’t know, but that is all for now”. Maybe that is what she was trying to tell me now. While her time on Earth is over, it is not over for us. It is just all for now.
My grandmother was an amazing woman, full of wisdom and adventure. She was a strong woman. Although she is no longer with us physically, she lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her and in the lives of her family. She lives on in me. She will be remembered, she will be loved and she will be missed. I praise God that he gave us all the time we needed to show our love and to tell her goodbye.
Goodbye sweet Granny. I love you and I cherish our memories.

Granny always treated me more like a son than a son in law. Whenever I got a chance to visit, she always was happy to see me and eager to feed me something good. I enjoyed reading her letters and learning the included bits of history. I love and miss her.

I know all of heaven is rejoicing they have prepared a great feast. Still my heart is broken. I know my mother is no longer suffering; yet still my heart is broken.
I am grateful to GOD for my mother, for her inspiration, guidance and prayers. I love you mom, I know you are with the LORD. We were all blessed with your presence. Thanks be to GOD.
Love and prayers, Jeanne

Grandma Lyon was a remarkable woman. Being an addition to her family through marriage, she has always treated my
brothers and I as family. She was thoughtful, kind hearted, and caring. We were blessed to have her in our lives and will remember her forever! Now we have two Theresas as angels watching over us all.

Terry,You were more of a mother to me in my adult life than my own mother was. Thank you for your support and advice. Despite having a large family of your own to care for,you still managed to help others, and I admired that so much. We shared laughter and tears over the years, and I'll always be grateful I got to know you. Love,Lois
