I cannot even begin to express to anyone what this man did for me and how he impacted my life. I first met Bob Bamerick when I was 10 as I joined Boy Scout Troop 83 in Fairmount, NY. He helped me and groomed me into achieving my Eagle Scout award, at just 13 years old. he continued to impact my life, as a friend and mentor. He served as my sponsor for confimation, and as my guide for the type of Military Officer i wanted to and Have become. My deepest sympathies are with his lovely wife Jane and the family. I share your loss and saddness. So Long Sir, and thanks for everything you did for me. I could not have asked for a better neighbor than Bob and Jane. I really enjoyed listening to Bob's stories about the military, or just chatting about current events.
