To Nick Jr and family - I was so saddened to hear of Nick's death; my deepest condolences. Nick was my favorite bartender of all time! I worked hundreds of nights at Art's Town House, and then at the downtown Quarterback, while Nick worked at those establishments. Nick had a signature opening line that made him famous with every musician who knew him. Whever you walked into the club, before you could even say hi, he'd yell "You think it's easy?" from behind the bar. It never failed to get a laugh. He really cared about the musicians. I've told that story to many folks over the many years since I saw him last. He left quite a legacy in education and the arts - you can all be proud.
