Obituary of Dorothy K. McIntyre

Dorothy Kellogg McIntyre January 20, 2011 Dorothy Kellogg McIntyre, 91, of Westvale passed away Thursday at Van Duyn. Born in Carthage, she was a graduate of Potsdam State. For over 31 years she was a teacher in the Westhill School District and at Cherry Road School. She was a member of Robinson Memorial Presbyterian Church, The Order of the Eastern Star, several Bridge Clubs, and the NYS Teachers Association. She was predeceased by her husband Donald McIntyre in 2005. Survivors: two daughters: Marilyn "Dodee" Powers of Westvale, and Martha J. McIntyre of Camillus; several nieces and one nephew. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St., prior to the service.
