James R. Kelly, 80, of Syracuse passed away Thursday at his home. Born in Syracuse, he was a life resident of this area and served in the US Army. James was retired from the US Postal Service and was a communicant of St. Brigid-St. Joseph Church.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret (Sidman) Kelly and his sister, Mary Kelly.
Services: 9 a.m. Friday at St. Brigid and St. Joseph Church, 318 Herkimer St. Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Brigid-St. Joseph Food Pantry.
