Obituary of Dolores M. Drake

Dolores "Tudy" M. Drake, 93, of Elbridge passed away Thursday peacefully surrounded by her family. Born in Hawley, PA she was a graduate of Oneonta High School and became a resident of Syracuse in 1962. Tudy was a switchboard operator with Bell Telephone Co. in Hawley, PA and later with New York State. She would later retire from the NYS Health Department after 18 years. She was an avid Facebook user with many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Kathryn and Raymond Elliott. Tudy was a wonderful mom to her children and mother figure to the neighborhood kids. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors: her children, Michael (Lorraine) Drake, Eileen (Michael) Dashnaw, Maureen Drake, Tommy (Barbie) Drake, Colleen (Mark) Lancette; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. Burial will be in Hawley, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carol M.
