Obituary of Louise A. Gehm

Louise A. Gehm, 93, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of Nottingham High School. She worked as a secretary and an assistant for Dr. Donald S. Grover. Louise also worked as a clerk for Merchants Mutual Insurance and would spend her later years as a homemaker. She and her husband William had a great love of square dancing and spent winters in Florida. William predeceased her in 2010. Survivors: son, Jeffrey (Patricia A.) W. Gehm of Syracuse; grandchildren, Amanda (Sean) Fahey of Camillus, Emily (Benjamin) Blumel of Virginia. Services: 11:00 am Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Association Of CNY, 4915 1/2 W. Taft Rd., PO Box 38, Liverpool, NY 13088.
