Obituary of June L. Christopher

June L. Christopher, 92, of Syracuse passed away Friday after a brief illness. She was born in Syracuse, July 13, 1925. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. June lived life to the fullest. She loved going to the health spa every day and being with her special friends. She enjoyed bowling and golf. June was known for her cooking especially her pasta, meatballs, and sauce. She loved all the good times with her sister in law, Jean Christopher back in the days when they had Christophers Restaurant. They were known to the girls as "Thelma and Louise". June was predeceased by her husband, Carl C. Christopher in 1997, her brothers in law, and sisters in law. Survivors: daughters, Jan (Mark) Christopher, and Carol Ann (George) Dooher; son, Carl L. Christopher; sister, Sharon DiMura; her grandchildren, Lance, Jason, Corey; great granddaughter, Gabriella; great great granddaughter, Annelise; many nieces and nephews. Services: Will be private as per June's wishes. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in June's name to a favorite charity.
