To: Jill and family. Mike will be remembered by me as a true and valued friend. Sincere and honest, with a great sense of humor. As schoolmates at Cherry Road school through recent years he never changed. A good and decent man that I am proud to have known. R.I.P., Michael.

I had the pleasure of working with and knowing Mike when Truck 1 was relocated to Station 3 while the new firehouse for 6's and Truck 1 was being built, I treasure that time because it was the best time of my life on the Fire Dept. We had a lot of fun and came together as a great crew, helping other brother firefighter with anything they needed help with. Whether it was replacing a roof, helping a brother firefighter get to a Dr's appointment or get transportation to treatment for a serious illness. Mike was always there for his brothers on the fire department. Our time at Station 3 with "the Gallagher Brothers", our Captian on Engine 3 was Tom Gallagher, was filled with great comradarie, fun times and many stories from Mike and Tom about when they were younger and their first years on the SFD. Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was the kind of Lieutenant that everyone wanted to work for, because he was a good teacher, a lot of fun and mostly because he put his guys before himself. If you worked with Mike you always knew no matter what the cal was or what the situation was, "You were confident and SAFE with Mike". Guys who knew him loved him and I feel blessed to have the pleasure of knowing and woking with him.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mike was a great neighbor. He would always wave and say hello when outside. I will never forget when he fixed my shingles on my roof even though he was retired. I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better. May he rest in peace.

Dear Jill and The Entire Family, I am sorry to see that Mike has passed, he was a great guy, always a smile and a kind word, always a gentleman, easy to wait on he was a favorite of mine at Westvale Golf and Twin Trees Too. He and Jack put my roof on the house in Camillus, the fact that he could work with Jack and remain so happy says a lot about the guy he was. I wish I was there to pay my respects to you in person. God Speed Mike may you Rest In Peace.

Jill and the entire Gallagher Family: We were deeply saddened by Mike's passing and our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this most difficult time. I grew up with Mike in Westvale and a better friend could not be had. We fondly remember your trip to the NACAR race when we lived in Charlotte and the great time that we had. Mike was a devoted firefighter and a great guy with some great stories that he shared. He will be greatly missed. We will never forget those several days that we got to spend with both of you and speak of them frequently. May God Bless the entire Gallagher family and welcome Mike to his eternal home. I always felt so comfortable around Mike as we shared times from our childhood in Westvale. Jill, if you ever come South, you are always welcome at our home in Greer, SC.

My sincere condolences Jill and family for your loss. "Big Mike", as we called him at the stations was a pleasant brother to know and learn from. Mike had a big heart but keep it secret, we had some wonderful times working together, Squad Co., Rescue Co., Truck 1 and Engine 6, boy some real fond memories. Very sad to hear another brother leaving for that Heavenly rest. I feel so fortunate to have known and work with Mike, Rest In Peace Brother.
