Obituary of James N. Morton, Jr.

James N. Morton, Jr., 92, of Syracuse passed away Thursday at Menorah Park. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to Syracuse in 1950. Jim received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute and was a registered professional engineer in the states of New York and New Jersey. He joined the Solvay Process Division of Allied-Signal Co in 1950 and remained until his retirement. Jim was a member of the Garden City Community Church and had been an Alderman Resident in the Syracuse YMCA. Survivors: nieces, Susan M. Derian of Manhattan Beach, CA and Sandra R. Della Ratta of Garden City, NY; nephew, Peter J. Morton of Taipei, Taiwan. Services: A private memorial service will be held for family and friends.
