Obituary of Francis R. Dwyer

Francis "Bud" Dwyer, 88, of Liverpool passed away Thursday, at the VA Medical Center. Born in Syracuse, he a US Navy Veteran. He was employed by Allied Chemical for over 35 years before retiring in 1984. Bud was an active member of the Hilltop Club, Geddes Veterans, Allied Chemical Retirees, the M and I Club, and the Tyrol Club. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church. Bud was avid golfer. He was predeceased by his brother and sisters. Survivors: his wife of 67 years, Louise (Sartor) Dwyer; daughter, Sue Ann Bryson of Virginia; sons, Donald Dwyer of Thailand and Dennis (Christine) Dwyer of Syracuse; grandchildren, Erich, John, Annebel, and Ryan; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the nurses on 7B at the VA Medical Center. Services: 11 am Tuesday at St. Cecilia's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial with military honors will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
