I knew Bobbie from sewing machine gatherings. Wonderful gal. I grew up in Marcellus but was in Rochester when we met. Lost touch when I moved to Florida. She will be missed.

My sympathies to the family. I knew Bobbie from our quilting group in Tully. She was very helpful and kind when asked about sewing machine issues.

"Bobbie" was a good friend, a good mother and loving Grandmother. Amidst our conversations about quilts and sewing machines she always worked in news about her sons and grandson! She will be missed!

I met Bobbi when she came to the New Hampshire TOGA in Wilton. She had a dog or two with her then and was a delight to me. She was full of information about our beloved old sewing machines, and just as enthusiastic as anyone there. We have, once in awhile corresponded. I am sad that she has passed away so young. I will miss knowing she is there for me to talk to once in awhile. May she rest in peace.

I am SO sorry to hear about Bobbie's passing. I met Bobbie through Treadleon in 2004 and she became my wonderful mentor in the world of people powered sewing machines. She taught me to treadle!!! Over the years she sold/helped me acquire several machines, and I sold her a couple, too. It seemed to me that she knew everything about treadle machines.
Always a giver, she wanted me to know and spread the word about women's heart attack symptoms, after her heart issues. Last fall I experienced some of these symptoms...and dialed 911 right away.
She told me many times how much she loved and appreciated her boys and the care you gave her in recent years.

To the family of Bobbie Berg,
I am so sorry for your loss. This is a loss for many, many people all over the country. Bobbie was such a delightful person. She was so knowledgeable in so many fields and shared this knowledge freely. There wasn't anything she didn't know about sewing machines.I have called her many times over the years to ask questions about one machine or the other. And she always had an answer. She always had that lovely smile. Bobbie will be missed always. Kitty Longo, Syracuse
