Obituary of Josephine Hrim

Josephine M. "Jo" Hrim, 106 years old, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Dennett Road Manor, Oakland, MD. The daughter of the late Charles and Anna Scznick Pawloski, she was born October 26, 1910 in Arlington, NJ. Jo was a native of Syracuse, NY, where she, along with her husband and son, operated the N&H Restaurant from 1942 to 1988. She moved to Oakland in 2009 to be closer to her daughter. Survivors: her daughter, Patricia H. Greaser of Rochester, PA and Terra Alta, WV; two grandchildren and spouses, Patrick and Eloise Greaser of Rochester, PA and Gretchen and George Sosnowski of Moscow, PA; four great grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Greaser and Zoe and Lucas Sosnowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Nero Hrim; her son, Thomas Hrim; and son-in-law, Thomas Greaser. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
