Obituary of Jane E. Wein

Jane Eleanor Wein, 98, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Loretto. She was born in Warners, NY, the daughter of William and Jessie Goodison. She was united in marriage to Collins B. Wein on August 3, 1940 in Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death March 25, 1969. They were married for 29 blissful years. Survivors: her daughter, Tamma Goldner of Camillus, NY; her granddaughter, Kim Goldner; her sister, Irma Jean Goodwin of Marcellus, NY; her niece, Pam Goodwin of Marcellus, NY; several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert C. Wein on March 23, 2003. The family would like to thank the staff at Loretto Cunningham, 4th Floor, for their kindness and caring. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. A calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, prior to the service.
