Michele "Shelly" (Engleson) Heuer, 74, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on August 11, 2016 at Francis House. She graduated from Williamson Central School in 1959 and earned her degree in education from Ithaca College. Shelly loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her granddaughters. She also enjoyed traveling, playing golf, Birthday Club, and singing and performing with the Sweet Adelines. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Helen Engleson, and sister, Diane Nash.
Surviving are her daughter Kelley (Steven) Lasher, beloved granddaughters Katie and Emma, brother Philip Engleson, and her niece, nephews, and cousins. The family thanks the staff and volunteers of Francis House for their care and support.
Services: A celebration of her life will be held in Williamson, NY and will be announced at a future date.
