Theodore R. Brooks Jr., 79, longtime resident of Tipperary Hill, passed away Friday. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Ann Brooks, and his parents Elizabeth and Theodore Brooks Sr. Born in Syracuse, he was a retired Taxi Driver. Ted loved to travel, particularly out West. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family. He was an avid member of CNY Bowmen and the CNY Gem and Mineral Society.
Survivors: children, Deborah Brooks Miller, Sharon (Michael) Wachna, Laura (Chuck) Bisnett, Theodore (Jessica) Brooks III; 7 grandchildren, with a granddaughter coming this fall; 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (Bill) Daeffler and Sue Barber; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours.
