Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth McGrath

Nancy Elizabeth McGrath, born March 6,1937, was a long-time resident of Syracuse. She was a graduate of Franciscan Academy and attended Syracuse University. Nancy was a lover of art, creating many works in watercolor and pen and ink. She also loved to collect antiques, was a formidable bridge player, and enjoyed a wide circle of friends.
Nancy is pre deceased by her parents William and Elizabeth McGrath, her brother, William McGrath, and sister, Patricia O'Connor.
Survivors: her sister, Kathleen (James) Kelly; sister in law, Pamela Moriarty Heneghan. Nancy is also survived by her five children, Michael (Geri Ann) Freyer, Marnie (Michael) Day, Mark (Amy Button) Freyer, Paul (Renee) Freyer and John (Sasha) Freyer, and seven granddaughters.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann's Church, Syracuse, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 5 to 7p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
