Kevin was an outstanding worker and a genuinely great person. He always had time to lend a hand and was the kind of person that you just wanted to be around. His upbeat attitude could brighten up a day instantly. The world needs more people like Kevin. He will be missed.

I posted this tribute poem on Facebook but do not have any direct connections with the family so wanted to post it here as well for them to see. If someone can make sure that Kaitlin sees this I would greatly appreciate it! For a few years she would make it out to almost every Lockheed Martin softball league game that we played together at Hopkins Road and she was clearly our teams biggest fan. The poem's voice is my own, but I wanted her to know that those years overlapping with her father are a fond memory for many of his teammates. :-)
The Batters Box Lies Empty...
The batters box lies empty where once my teammate stood
At softball he was often great and always very good
He has legged out his last double and chased down his final fly
But I can still hear his voice cheering and see that twinkle in his eye
His long career was half over when he teamed up by our side
His talent had slightly faded but his knowledge had grown wide
In tossing endless batting practice or talking strategy
I am certain that he mentored much better men than me
From plate to fence and line to line he loved making all the plays
He was such a boy of summer and those fading glory days
His well used glove is folded and his bat leans against the rack
He has given his last guidance and no longer has our back
The final out has been recorded and his playing days are done
He has faced down his last pitcher and scored his final run
For the batters box lies empty where Kevin used to stand
I will always miss the player but even more the man

Dear Bobby, Kim Kaitlin, and Kevin;
We are so sadden and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin was one of the nicest person we ever met and it was a pleasure to know him. Any time we saw Kevin he had a smile for us. It was always so good to see him and take a few minutes to talk at the Fuaco's Christmas Parties or othert events where we got to see him.
To the kids,
I grew up knowing your dad, playing against him and your uncles in hoops and being part of the Fuoco's A-C. Your dad was a great athlete yet a humble man, a special man. He was kind, and thoughtful, and fun.
I am out of town on work and its bothering me not to be there for your mom, for you kids, and for the Janik and Suave families but I will be thinking and praying for you. Stay close to your wonderful family.

Joe and Lauren - and rest of the family - Very sorry for your loss - what a battle Kevin had. I'm sure it helped him to be surrounded by such a large and loving family. We at Trinity Fellowship have been praying, and will continue to. I did not work directly with Kevin here at Lockheed, but I know he was highly regarded, and his contributions were key to the success of our products over the past decades.
