Obituary of Carl H. Plochko Sr.

Carl H. Plochko Sr., 83, of Westvale died Sunday, March 27. He was born in Syracuse, NY. Carl was a self-employed home builder and built more than 300 homes in the Syracuse area. He was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church and a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. His wife, Betty died in 1992. He loved spending time at his camps with his family in the Adirondacks and Black Lake, NY, fishing and hunting and telling stories. He looked forward to playing cards with the guys on Tuesday nights and loved raising rabbits and showing off the baby bunnies. Survivors: Carl H. Plochko Jr. (Doris), Cathleen H. Waters (Paul), Christopher H. Plochko, Robin Cannata, Christine H. Olney (James), all of Syracuse, NY. 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Amber Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
