Elizabeth Hughes, 91, of Syracuse passed away Sunday, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Unadilla Forks, NY she received her bachelors in nursing in 1945. Elizabeth worked many years at Faxton Hospital in Utica NY as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Robinson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, William Hughes and her daughter Janice Corbin.
Survivors: daughter, Susan Bowen of Watertown, MA; son, David Hughes of Bath, NY; her sister and many nieces and nephews in the Utica area.
Services: 10 am Monday graveside at Walnut Grove Cemetery, South Ave., Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
