Donald E. Lord, 80, of Syracuse passed away Thursday. Born in Warwick, RI he retired from General Electric after many years working as an engineer. He loved travelling, gardening, sports, and in his younger years was an All-State Track Athlete. Donald was pre deceased by his siblings.
Survivors: his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth (Nolan) Lord; daughters, Tracey (Stephen) Mortas, Catherine Lord (Jim Lioto), Susan Lord-Keene; grandchildren, Julia, Olivia, Enya, Ethan, Brendan.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
