Obituary of Elizabeth A. Sedwick

Elizabeth A. Sedwick, 76, of Syracuse passed away Thursday at Loretto. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived many years in this area. Elizabeth, a former teacher in the Solvay School District was a faith filled person. She shared her talent and love for music in many ways especially at meetings of the Discalced Secular Carmelites, Mother of the Eucharist Chapter, of which she was a member. Poor health prevented her from continuing this Ministry but she remained a spiritual member until her death. Survivors: two sons, Thomas S. Sedwick and Timothy J. Sedwick; brother, Robert Schacht; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services: 9:00 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
