Obituary of Lefterija Jim

Lefterija Jim, 88, of N. Syracuse passed away Thursday. Born July 21, 1926 in Bitola, Macedonia one of two sisters and five brothers. She married, came to America in 1959, and one year later had a son. She worked as a seamstress for 30 years, most recently for Learbury Clothes. She found great joy in taking care of her grandkids. She was a communicant of St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church. She was predeceased by her husband Tom Jim in 1990. Survivors: her brother, Dimitar Boshkovski, son, Nick, daughter in law, Liz, grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher Jim. Services: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, with Trisagion Prayer Service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. George Macedonian Orthodox Church, 5083 Onondaga Rd., Syracuse, NY 13215 or Hospice Of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
