To everyone in the CAIN Family: How sad I am to know our dear "MOM" has passed away. I call her that because she was my 2nd Mother, who had taught me so much in my young life, growing up on Cortland Pl w/2 small children. Many, many happy times are remembered, also w/your Dad. We all had a special bond living on that street, that has inbeded in our lives forever. My deepest Condolenceses& love to each & everyone of you. JANE MOORE

We are so sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful memories of your Mom. I remember her pies and being able to throw chicken on the grill and it would cook perfect. Your Mom was an amazing lady. I think of all of you often and especially now during this time.

To the Cain Family:
I wanted to tell you how very sad and sorry I was to hear of your Mom's passing. You can be thankful that she had a full and active life with plenty of family and friends. She, your Dad.....indeed the whole family was a part of a wonderful childhood that I will always treasure. Cortland Place was a great neighborhood to grow up in - I wouldn't change a minute of any of it - except for the time that Dutchess got out and...did away with...Susan's rabbit. I'm still sorry for that Susan - 'cause I let her out accidently.
Thanks to you all so much for the (otherwise) great memories. It's nice to have those memories so that we can get through times like this. Again, my condolences and love to all.

To all the Cain Kids,
We were so saddened to learn of the passing of your mom. What a great force and spirit she was in the lives of all of us who grew up on Cortland Place. I still wonder how she managed always to have the time and energy to give love, attention and caring not only to all of you but to the rest of the kids on the street as well.
I know you will miss her very much. I'm glad she's left you with so many wonderful memories to keep in your hearts.

To all the Cain familly. I am very sorry to just hear of the passing of your mom. As a kid I remember the all the years of growing up just across the street.Playing kickball in the street in front of your house. All the kids some older and some younger just a house full of life. It was a great place to grow up and mold the people we are today. My thoughts are with all of you as both your mom and dad would be proud to see the kids from Cortland Place as adults of today.
