Patricia Bowers Hill Neary, 89, of Camillus, NY, passed away on April 28, 2014 at the Centers at St. Camillus. Patricia was born in Syracuse, NY on St. Patrick's Day. She graduated from Solvay High School in 1943 and Syracuse University in 1947 with a degree in Fine Arts. Pat was an art teacher in Oswego before her marriage to Joseph J. Hill in 1949. She enjoyed reading mysteries, playing bridge, knitting, singing, bowling, and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Hill in 1997, as well as her brothers, William Bowers, and Richard Bowers. Pat was incredibly lucky to reconnect with her high school boyfriend, John R. Neary, and they married in 2004. Pat is survived by her husband, John Neary of Camillus; her daughter, Ellen McQuade and husband Paul McQuade of Clayton, CA; her grandchildren, Christy (Nick) and Josh (Colleen); as well as her great- grandchildren, Nicky, Joe, Landon, and Logan. She is also survived by John's children, Diane Harrington, Kathy Clark (Jerry), Sharon Bach, Kevin Neary (Ellie) and Nellie Neary; many nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
