Josephine Mantione Bordonaro, age 89, loving wife of Angelo, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2014. Josephine was born in Syracuse and resided in Split Rock most of her life. After leaving Syracuse China (in her earlier years) Josephine stayed home to raise her four daughters. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary at Taunton Fire Department and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Saint Michaels Church. Josephine enjoyed baking and looked forward to cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors: her husband of 66 years, Angleo; her four daughters, Virginia (Bill) White of Liverpool, Carolyn (Ned) MacNabb of Constantia, Marie (Tom) Hayes, of Fayetteville, and Kathy (Jeff) Isgar of Marcellus; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at The Church Of St. Michael-St. Peter, 4782 W Seneca Tpke., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
