Jean L. Zampi, 85, of Clay passed away Tuesday at Elderwood Health Center after a short illness. She spent most of her life in the Syracuse area and the last 30 years in Clay. Jean was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
She was predeceased by her husband John in 2000.
Survivors: her son, John (Jeanne) Zampi of Clay; grandsons, Jay (Chrissie) Zampi of Liverpool, Matthew (Nicole) Zampi of Mechanicville, NY; great grandchildren, Brandon Zampi and Gianna Zampi; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St., Syracuse.
