Obituary of Jane E. Rymowicz

Jane E. Rymowicz October 13, 2013 Jane E. Rymowicz, 92, of Syracuse passed away Sunday, at Elderwood Health Center. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of Buffalo State Teacher’s College. Jane previously worked for several area businesses but her favorite job was as Volunteer Coordinator at Crouse Hospital. After her retirement, Jane happily volunteered at the hospital for over 20 years. She was very active in the Syracuse City School District PTA. She enjoyed travelling, a good book, crossword puzzles, and embroidery. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Stanley and son Paul. Survivors: daughter, Anne Rymowicz; her niece, Joan McDermott; several other nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home Inc. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes, Syracuse. Calling hour 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home,1921 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA.
