Obituary of Tanya A. McGinn

Tanya Ann McGinn, 35, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, after fighting a valiant 6 year battle with cancer. Tanya was born on October 29, 1977. She lived her life generously loving her friends and family. Tanya grew up on Onondaga Hill in Syracuse, NY and attended Onondaga Central High School. Tanya enjoyed supporting Breast Cancer Awareness. She attended many events including; the Susan G. Koman "Race for the Cure" every year and several other fundraisers. Tanya is survived by her devoted husband, Sean McGinn; parents, Terry and Karla Gebman; her sisters, Dawn (Will) Gebman-Kemp and Cheri Gebman; her nephews, Matthew, Kyle, Noah, Devin, Jacob, and Carson; her niece, Maggie; her precious puppy and cats, Cyrus, Angel, Misty and Sabrina; and many other adoring family members. Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church Of St. Michael-St. Peter, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Calling hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carol M.
