Ann Marie Brooks, 75, of Syracuse passed away Thursday, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Agnes Bowser. Born in Scranton, PA, she graduated from Vocational High School and worked as a bookkeeper. Ann loved to travel, enjoyed needlework, genealogy, and loved everything about Christmas. She was involved with the Mother’s Club, Boy Scouts, CNY Bowmen, and Literacy Volunteers. Survivors: her husband of 58 years, Theodore R. Brooks Jr.; children, Deborah Miller, Sharon (Michael) Wachna, Laura (Chuck) Bisnett, Thordore (Jessica) Brooks III; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Harrison) Homer, Douglas (Linda) Bowser. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours.
