Obituary of Elizabeth Stapleton Hickson

Elizabeth "Liz" Stapleton Hickson, 64, formerly of Syracuse passed away at her home in Summerville, SC on Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Katherine Stapleton. Born in Syracuse, Liz worked for the NYS DMV until moving to Arizona where she retired from the IRS as a Manager. She then turned her love of antiques into a business buying and selling fine antiques. Survivors: her husband, Thomas Hickson; brother, William Stapleton; nieces Ashley and Megan Stapleton; nephews, Brandon and Jeffrey Stapleton. Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. Michael - St. Peter, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. There are no calling hours.
