Obituary of Alice J. Riley

Alice J. Slocum Riley May 23, 2013 Alice J. Riley, 91, of Fairmount passed away Thursday. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of Vocational High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved to shop for a bargain. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Jack Riley in 2012, and son John D. Riley, Jr. Survivors: her son, Thomas (Shae) Riley of Camillus; granddaughters, Shannon (William Brooksbank) Riley, and Kathleen (Kenneth) Ramsey; grandson, Thomas (Michelle) Riley, Jr.; great granddaughter, Kayla Riley; sister, Helen Simmons; brother, Joseph Slocum; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Roxann, Bobbilyn and Jennifer for their compassionate care and support. Services: 1 pm Tuesday at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
